Available Positions

Crew Member

We are currently hiring crew members for the 2022 growing season. This position includes working on our install and maintenance crew, with options to focus more on maintenance or more on install (knowing that there will be some crossover as we are a small company).  Each day involves a variety of tasks working outside–this requires candidates to be comfortable working in all weather conditions and have the stamina for challenging physical labor (must be able to lift 50-60 lbs and kneel or squat repeatedly). Transportation and a driver’s license are required. Start date is early-to-mid April, job goes through late October. Working as a team and the ability to work hard and have fun is important to us.

Both full and part time positions available through the growing season.

We are looking to hire crew members that have previous landscaping experience.   Some of the daily work includes:

  • Installation of our designs including removal of vegetation and demo work, grading/moving soil, building with hardscape/softscape materials, and planting.  Generally most of our installs primarily consist of softscape—soil prep and planting.  We do occasional small hardscape projects or prep.
  • Maintenance responsibilities include: weeding, pruning, mulching, raking, and other related maintenance tasks.
  • Using landscape/construction tools, both hand tools and power tools – experience operating a dingo/bob-cat a plus.
  • Plant identification knowledge- MN natives and invasives identification a plus.
  • Experience driving a trailer and/or dump truck desired but not a requirement.

We are somewhat flexible with scheduling, but we value punctuality and dependability.  One requirement is the ability to talk and work that  the same time!  We love working as a team and sharing stories all season, but work the shovel as you talk please!

We are also looking to hire a maintenance manager, requirements would include scheduling and communication (mostly via email) with clients as well as managing crew members on-site.  Opportunities to advance into this position.

Hourly wage is $18-$24 depending on experience and position.
