Available Positions

Foreman

Light Dark Landscape is a sustainable landscape company with an emphasis on using native plants to create habitat for critters and humans as well as visually beautiful spaces. Light Dark differs from other landscape companies by our devotion to reducing lawns, restoring shorelines, prairies and woodlands, using edibles, and creating water-smart solutions.

Our hardscape projects tend to be more natural – boulder placement, installation of gravel paths and patios, natural stepping stone, various edging material, dry creeks, and rain gardens.  Our focus is on plants and soft scape (creation of berms and swales)—all applicants must be familiar or willing to learn how to install these elements.

We are looking for team members that value our philosophy and find meaning in working within the field of ecological landscaping.  We are a small company and therefore appreciate employees that will fit in with fellow team members so that we can have a good time while we work!
